Queen Bee Ring - Sterling Silver, Gold Vermeil, Citrine

As the largest and most fertile female of the hive, The Queen Bee, represented on a ring, is the grandest of The Bee Collection. Her head is adorned with a citrine jewel crown and her wings are plated in 14k yellow gold.

The body of the insect is hand-sculpted in wax and then cast in sterling silver. The wings are hand cut from a thin silver plate that has been textured using horse hair. The horse hair creates a surface pattern that mimics the beautiful and delicate veins of the insect’s wings.

All of the findings and chains used in my ready to wear collection are solid sterling silver or gold fill. 

All Invidiosa Jewelry is crafted with heirloom-quality materials, however it is recommended to remove your sterling silver or gold fill items during certain activities, such as like sleeping, showering, swimming, or any heavy lifting, to ensure their longevity.
