Leaping Rabbit Necklace - Gold Plated Sterling Silver

This finely detailed rabbit pendant is full of life and movement. This piece has been carefully rendered to show the animal leaping through the air. Elegant and yet whimsical, this piece is perfect for any animal lover.

The Animalia collection combines two passions of mine - animals and drawing. I developed a technique that allows me to translate my pen and ink sketches into jewelry-making, by drawing directly into sheets of soft wax with a sharp scribe tool. The result is highly unique jewelry with an illustrative and whimsical quality - wearable art in it's truest form. 

This item was sculpted by hand in wax, cast in 925 sterling silver, polished, mounted on a sterling silver chain, and finally plated in 14K yellow gold.

All of the findings and chains used in my ready to wear collection are solid sterling silver or gold fill. 

All Invidiosa Jewelry is crafted with heirloom-quality materials, however it is recommended to remove your sterling silver or gold fill items during certain activities, such as like sleeping, showering, swimming, or any heavy lifting, to ensure their longevity. 

Every piece of Invidiosa Jewelry is packaged in a lovely box, tied with ribbon and includes a business card with contact details.
